Amy’s practice primarily focuses on intellectual property and dispute resolution, including but not limited to commercial disputes, debt recovery, employment disputes, and insurance claims. She also provides advisory services in intellectual property — from prosecution to enforcement — as well as in commercial and corporate matters.

Throughout her years of practice, Amy has assisted in defending clients against tortious claims and in advising and drafting commercial agreements, including but not limited to worldwide co-existence agreements, licensing agreements, software-as-a-service agreements, and shareholders’ agreements. She also offers strategic guidance on brand management and intellectual property protection, both locally and internationally.

Notably, Amy played a role in defending clients in a multi-million-dollar commercial dispute between a prominent Malaysian individual and a global healthcare service provider. She has also assisted in successfully facilitating several out-of-court settlements, including one involving a flash fire incident with multiple victims. She is currently managing and assisting in a complex debt recovery matter valued in the millions.

Amy was a recipient of the Great Eastern Supremacy Scholarship Award when she read law at Multimedia University, Melaka, where she assisted in legal research on foreign workers’ rights in Malaysia and intellectual property rights in licensing policies.

Due to her active involvement, Amy was awarded the Female Student Leader of the Year and was also nominated for the Golden Achievement Award. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019, following the completion of her pupillage.

Amy is known for her diligence and commitment to her work.
