Wilson is active in corporate, civil and construction dispute resolution. He appears and assists in proceedings before the courts of Malaysia and in arbitration. Wilson also assists in adjudication proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA).
Wilson read law in University of Sheffield and thereafter called to be Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. Wilson received Dean’s List of Student Awards for being the top performing student for Advanced Civil Practice. Aside from curriculum achievements, Wilson was also active in activities and events outside of law school and bar school. He, together with 2 other peers, obtained 1st place in the Kesatuan Penuntut Undang-Undang Malaysia di United Kingdom dan Eire (KPUM) Law Reform Competition by presenting a proposal in reforming the DNA Identification Act 2009 in 2016. Wilson was subsequently invited to pitch the proposal to the Law Reform Division of the Malaysia Attorney General Chambers in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
Prior to joining Gan Partnership, Wilson was with a banking and financing litigation team of a large firm and an established counsel firm respectively. He also previously worked as a legal counsel for a public listed petrochemical Korean company in Malaysia.
Wilson is proficient and able to render advice in Mandarin.
