Benjamin practises litigation and dispute resolution with a focus in disputes arising from construction, engineering, infrastructure and projects. He has been actively involved in arbitration and various court proceedings before all levels of Malaysian courts. Benjamin also assists with adjudications disputes under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA).
Benjamin read law at the University of Malaya and graduated with Distinction, equivalent to a First Class Honours degree. He was also awarded with numerous academic honours, including the prestigious Puan Sri Haseenah Abdoolcader Gold Medal, the Tun Azmi Foundation Award and multiple subject book prizes during his time at university. A notable mooting achievement of his was emerging as the first runner-up in the 2019 National Cyber Law Moot Court Competition.
Being a native Mandarin speaker, Benjamin is able to dissect complicated issues and render legal advice in Mandarin.
