Tasha is a dedicated member of the firm’s Engineering, Construction, Energy & Projects, and Arbitration Practice Group, and plays an active role in the firm’s China Desk. Her practice focuses on construction and infrastructure disputes, with significant experience advising and representing both domestic and international clients across a broad range of engineering and project-related matters.

Tasha’s work encompasses both contentious and advisory engagements involving highways, railway infrastructure, mixed developments, piling and post-tensioning works, telecommunications systems, and high-value building and engineering contracts. She regularly acts in disputes concerning delay, defective works, professional negligence, and termination, and has appeared in numerous arbitration and adjudication proceedings, as well as at all levels of the Malaysian courts.

In her advisory role, Tasha supports clients throughout the project lifecycle, including contract drafting and review, risk assessment, and strategic planning to minimise dispute exposure. She is well-versed in standard forms such as PAM, IEM, and FIDIC, and has advised on turnkey, EPC, and subcontractor arrangements.

Currently, Tasha serves as one of Malaysia’s ICC YAAF Representatives for the South Asia 2024–2026 Mandate — an appointment that reflects her rising profile in international arbitration and her commitment to the global disputes community. Her work has earned praise from clients, with Benchmark Litigation describing her as “responsive and knowledgeable.”

Before joining Gan Partnership, Tasha was part of the construction team at a prominent Malaysian law firm and previously served as a research assistant in ASEAN environmental and energy law.

She has contributed to the firm’s publications, including Manoeuvring Corporate Governance in Malaysia: Litigation Perspectives (Lexis Nexis Malaysia, March 2021) and Construction Law – Time in Construction (CLJ Malaysia, July 2023).
